The owner/operator Jake grew up in a hard-working, blue-collared family and learned the value of a dollar through hard work and dedication. He then became a Mechanical Engineer seeking new opportunities for his future. Engineering opened many doors and opportunities but there were a few principles that always stood out.

After many years he missed being outside, hands on, and transforming customers problems into solutions. Jake went back to what he grew up with and loved. JL Septic & Excavating LLC was created operating on those basic principles gained from an engineering background.
